Disappointing visit to Dismals Canyon . We were disappointed at the lack of trail markings, washed out bridges at creek crossings and much other neglected maintenance. For a private facility that charges $12 admission, we felt like we were unnecessarily put at risk because of the poor condition of the trail and lack. of markings.

10/9/2020 · This hidden natural wonder is located near Hackleburg, Alabama. My family enjoyed a nice hike through Dismals Canyon . My sons ages 7 and 11 really enjoyed the hike and the waterfalls. This was our 2nd trip and we still enjoyed it just as much as the first time. There is a gift shop that is cute but does not offer much.
